October Elf Of The Month

Here to brighten up what has proven to be a dreary October in Pittsburgh is our Elf of the Month, Senior Account Manager Michelle Riches.

Michelle, a University of Pittsburgh Professional Writing alumnus, came to Community Elf after a year of working with children as a teacher at Gymboree. Whether she’s wrangling kids or her team of Elves, you can tell that she takes pride in what she does and that she’s great at it. As kind as she is funny, Michelle is a natural leader and has proven herself as an invaluable part of the team. Her wit is unrivaled, her spirit unflinching, and her energy seemingly endless. Little known fact: She attempts to include at least one pun or joke in every blog she writes for her clients (where appropriate of course). (Editor’s Note: Exhibit A.)

Screen Shot 2016-10-24 at 2.53.15 PM.pngWhen not Elfing around, Michelle is a part of numerous improv troupes and performances throughout the city. She is also a vocal rat enthusiast, caring for her babies as if they were her own children (Editor’s Note: See photo for evidence. She truly loves her rats).

A few more interesting facts about Michelle: she is an incredible singer and ukulele player, she can write a blog about cars in her sleep, and she created the hilarious Twitter account @carcartips (Editor’s Note: Michelle actually knew very little about cars prior to her tenure at Community Elf. Four automotive clients and countless hours of research later, she is now the resident Car Elf.). She was also a vegan for a significant period of time, and she was one of the founding members of the award-winning Pitt acapella group, C Flat Run.

I’ll let Michelle take it from here!
