It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which means it’s time to introduce another wonderful Elf of The Month! This month, I have the pleasure to introduce Account Manager Quinn Denio.
Quinn came to Community Elf after a two-year stint as a social media account manager for small to medium sized businesses and three local radio stations. Prior to that, she was a Communications Media student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her account manager experience shines through in her bubbly demeanor and professional attitude that she uses daily to interact with clients. Her wit and creativity not only enhance the work that she does, but also make the office a generally pleasant place to be.
It’s time for a few little-known facts about Quinn. She once went with her friend to help her adopt a cat, and ended up leaving with her own kitten named Ollivander (Ollie for short) after the famed wand maker in the Harry Potter series (Editor’s Note: Ollie may be the cutest cat ever. So cute, in fact, that she actually was approved to feature him in some of her client’s content!). It’s rumored that she’s a natural blonde however finding picture evidence of this has proven to be nearly impossible (Editor’s Note: I may or may not have spent a good 30 minutes trying to find said evidence but to no avail), and she was once a dog walker / cat socializer for the Indiana County Humane Society. Finally, her friends sent her a balloon for her birthday that magically lasted in our office for over a month, completely full and never losing shape (Editor’s Note: After this event, I’ve become convinced she does know actual wizards).
Now, without any further delay, here’s Quinn!
Name: Quinn Denio
Why did you want to be an Elf?: I didn't choose the elf life, the elf life chose me.
The thing you are most passionate about?: It's honestly a three-way tie between coffee, Harry Potter, and traveling.
Favorite Twitter account to follow: @jk_rowling
Favorite blog you’ve read recently: Not technically a blog, but I've been reading a lot of National Geographic articles online. Does that still count? I am a huge nerd.
Coolest place you've ever been: Last year I visited my cousin in Munich, Germany. As a history lover, I felt like a kid in a candy shop!
One thing you could eat every day: Pizza. All of the pizza.
One song you could listen to on endless repeat: So it's not just one song, but I could listen to Vance Joy's album "Dream Your Life Away" over and over again and never get sick of it. It always puts me in a good mood.
Coffee, tea, or other?: COFFEE ALL DAY EVERY DAY
Best social campaign you’ve seen recently: #LikeAGirl
What’s your spirit animal?: Daenerys Targaryen
Who do you hope to be in 5 years?: A better version of myself... or Emma Watson. Whichever one comes first. (Editor’s Note: Let’s be real now, who wouldn’t want to become Emma Watson if given the chance?)
Favorite thing about Pittsburgh: The history, the people, the vibrant arts, the cultural scene, and the fact that it just feels like home.
Best costume you've ever dressed up as: This year I went as Eleven from the show Stranger Things. It was epic. (Editor’s Note: Agreed! Extremely creepy and accurate picture for proof!)
What did you want to be when you were 5 years old?: A singer in a girl band (this was during the Spice Girls era).
Weirdest Thing You've Ever Purchased: A bacon scented candle. 0/10 would not recommend.
Pierogies or Primantis?: Unpopular opinion: Primantis is highly overrated. So, Pierogies all the way for me!
First thing you’d do if you won the lottery: Pay off my student loans and then buy a first class ticket to Italy.
Biggest fear: CLOWNS. They are the worst.
